The word 'times' refers to multiplication.for ex. 2 times of x= 2*x            or        5 times of 4= 5*4

 In similar manner,

 

3 times 2/11 = 3*(2/11)

                    = (3/1)*(2/11)

                    = 6/11

(3 / 1) × (2 / 11)

 

 

According to the rules of fractions, we can multiply the numerators and multiply the denominators. So in the end, we have
