I NEED URGENT HELP! DUE TODAY!

An ocicat eats 3/5 of a pound of food daily. How many ocicats can a 19 1/2-pound bag of food feed for one week?

Explain your solution.
Please explain very clearly

I think 4 is the right answer but 5 X 13 = 65 not 60

Your answer is correct but the way you did it was wrong. The 19 1/2 pound bag could feed one ocicat for 32.5 weeks. Your right about that, but when you divided 32.5 by 7, your finding you many weeks the 19 1/2 bag could feed one ocicat. You should have done like this: First, calculate how many pounds one ocicat can eat in one week, which is 21/5. Next, divide 19 1/2 and 21/5. You should get an answer around four.
