First we need to remind the followinglaws related to lagorithms...

1. ln x is defined on the base e whereas log x is defined on the base 10.

2. ln x = log x/ log e 

 

Now, 

 

     (log 21)+(ln 15) = (log 21) + (log 15/log e)

                              = (1.322) + (1.176/ 0.434 )

                              = (1.322) +2.709)

                              =  4.031

 

Rounding to nearest hundred to 4.031 = 4.03
