asked 06/25/15It is possible
It is possible that a composition of two transformations may be renamed by only one other transformational method. For example, the composition of a line reflection in the y-axis followed by a line reflection in the x-axis could be described as a single transformation of a reflection in the origin.

For any point (x, y), the reflection over the y-axis is (-x, y).
The reflection of this point over the x-axis is (-x, -y).
(-x, -y) is a reflection of (x, y) in the origin.
It could also be described as a rotation of 180° about the origin.
