Find the x-intercept

 

Set y=0 into the equation given.

 

6x - 4(0) = 24

6x = 24

  x = 4

 

The x-intercept is (4, 0).

 

 

Find the y-intercept

 

Set x=0 into the equation given.

 

6(0) - 4y = 24

       - 4y = 24

          y = -6

 

The y-intercept is (0, -6).

 

Plot these two points on the same coordinate system.  Connect these two points in a straight line throughout the coordinate system to get your graph.
