If the function is 6/(x+5) then (x + 5) cannot equal 0 ==> x ≠ -5
In interval notation this is (-∞,-5)∪(-5,∞)
If the function is (6/x) + 5 then x cannot equal 0
In interval notation this is (-∞,0)∪(0,∞)
