I am a bit confused with this question. I thought the answer would be y=-1/7x+2 but my answer sheet says x+7y=14

Your answer is equivalent to the answer sheet's answer:

 

x + 7y = 14

 

       7y = -x + 14

 

         y = (-1/7)x + 2

 

Your answer is the slope-intercept form (y = mx + b).  The answer in the answer key is the standard form (Ax + By = C).
