As a pharmacist, confidence in dose calculations has always been important. This has been refined by the dozens of students I've helped a learner overcome near-dyslexia (this was an observatory assessment), be helping her realise that the math phobias were not generalised but specific( it was just on one area of math) unfortunately it was a fundamental area. Once we worked through the bases, everything else was set in place. It took us only 4 sessions to get to this point.
