Beth H.
asked 03/10/25How would I sign up as a tutor?
I have 17 years experience working with middle and high school age students in the areas of writing prep and literacy skills, reading comprehension, test prep for the writing portion of ACT, executive functioning skills, and more. My undergrad (BA) is in English and I hold a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on Gifted Education. I’d love to begin working for you.
Thank you,
Beth

Visit Wyzant’s tutor sign-up page and create an account by clicking "Become a Tutor." You'll need to complete your profile by detailing your 17 years of experience, education, and expertise in writing, literacy, reading comprehension, ACT writing prep, and executive functioning skills. After setting your hourly rates, Wyzant may require a background check and, for certain subjects, a proficiency quiz. Once approved, your profile will go live, allowing students to find and connect with you for tutoring sessions. Highlighting your M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Gifted Education, along with your specialized skills, will help attract the right students. Best of luck!
