Utilize Area of a triangle formula which is the following: A=1/2bh
The given in the problem we know the the area and base which is the following: A=17.5m2 and b=7m
We will substitute these numbers into the formula to solve for the height (h)
17.5=1/2(7)h--First multiply 1/2 and 7 to get 7/2
17.5=7/2h-finally divide both sides by 7/2 to get your h
(17.5)/(7/2)=(7/2)/(7/2) h
h=(17.5)/(7/2)=(17.5)(2/7)-in dividing fractions flip the second fraction
h=17.5*2=35/7=5m
So the height of the triangle equals 5 meters.
