If I have a 72 average in US History and I fail my EOC which is 15% of my grade, will I fail the class.

My grade last quarter was a 66 and this quarter is a 79 and overall my average is 72. 60 and below is failing in my district. If I fail this EOC will I fail the course?

If you are correct in the value of the final test and your overall current average for the rest of the year, then you should be okay with passing for the year. Obviously, I would suggest you put your best effort into doing well on the EOC test. However, with your 72% average overall being worth 85% of your grade (100% total grade minus 15% EOC value), your raw score is about a 61% if you scored a 0% on the EOC based on the information you gave. On the other hand, if you were to hypothetically score 100% on the EOC test, your overall average may go up to a 76% for the year. Just try your best on the test.
