asked 04/24/24If I have a 72 average in US History and I fail my EOC which is 15% of my grade, will I fail the class.
My grade last quarter was a 66 and this quarter is a 79 and overall my average is 72. 60 and below is failing in my district. If I fail this EOC will I fail the course?

If your overall average is 72 and the EOC is 15% of your grade, even if you get a 0 on the EOC, it would reduce your overall grade by 15% of 60 (the failing grade), which is 9 points. This would bring your overall average down to 63, which is above the failing threshold of 60 in your district. So, even if you fail the EOC, you should not fail the course based on these numbers. However, is this your quarter grade, your semester grade, or your EOY grade? Because these are different grades towards calculating.
