The formula for volume of a rectangular prism: V=lwh, where v=volume, l=length, w=width, and h=height.
So you'll be multiplying the length x width x height:
3ft x 1.5ft x 2ft=9ft³

Volume of a rectangular solid = dimension x dimension x dimension = 3ft x 1.5ft x 2ft = 9ft3.
The volume is 9 cubic feet.

My first question is, is this like a reptile tank like an aquarium (A cube or rectangular) or is it like the Hot water heater in your basement (A cylinder) I'm assuming you are referring to a reptile tank shape. If my assumption is correct, you would multiply each of the 3 sides together in any order. You can take Length (L) Width (W) and Height (H) and you can do (L * W) * H or (H * W) * L - but I prefer the good old (L * W) * H. So for 3 feet long, 1.5 feet high, and 2 feet deep: 3 * 1.5 = 4.5 (L times W) 4.5 * 2 = 9 (Result of LW * H) So the answer is 9 cubic Feet.03/13/24
