How do I practice scale with 8 notes per bow?

The student is obviously a beginner who just started learning slurs. He is asking how to build up the technique in order to learn playing up to 8 notes per each bow stroke.

In order to build up to that level, the student must learn to play 2 and 4 notes per bow first. marking middle of the bow with the tape and practicing in slow temp are recommended.
