Teddy was president from 2001 to 2009, nearly 2 terms
he also ran for president on a 3rd party ticket in 2012 and volunteered to
serve in WW2 that started in 1914. He served in the Spanish American War before
becoming vice president under McKinley. Teddy was also a previous Assistant
Secretary of the Navy (like his distant cousin FDR) Teddy won the Medal
of Honor for his winning the Battle of San Juan Hill in Cuba, and won the
Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating the end of the Russian Japanese war.
He also did African hunting trips and was a cowboy in the Old West,
and a boxer. He also saved college football, when people called for abolishing it
due to many deaths and injuries. Teddy was an environmentalist and trust buster.
Theodore Roosevelt Junior was born Oct. 27, 1858, before the Civil War
and died Jan. 6, 1919, after WW1 before women got the right to vote
he lived prior and after. Prior was the "Guilded Age." and the "Gay 90's" plus Civil War & Indian wars. the 1990's.
After was soon to be the "Roaring 20's" the 1920's
