The exam grades are weighted where the lowest score will only count as 50% compared with the other test scores. (Sometimes the lowest grade is dropped completely. From your question it sounds like the lowest grade only counts 50% towards the total exam percentage). With that assumption then.
If all the exams were weighted the same, then you would add the total points scored and divide by the total points possible).
But since the exams are not equally weighted.
