Because the approximation is a negative quadratic, the question is essentially asking to find the x value of the vertex (the peak of my quadratic function).
If we use ax2+bx+c form for our quadratic,
the x value of the vertex is = -b/(2a)
In this case, a = (-1/2500) and b = 19/23
Plug into the equation -b/(2a) and get your answer
I hope this helps. If you need me to clarify anything please feel free to reach out :)

Not quite. Take your negative b and divide it by 2 times a. You should get a value somewhere between 1000 and 105004/27/23

So it would be -1/2500 times 19/23? I'm not sure what it means to "plug into the equation -b(2a)04/27/23
