The rule with holes is that if you can cancel any factors in the numerator and the denominator, this will create a hole.
So in this function, you cancel out the (x+2) expressions and the x expressions.
To find the holes, we set these equal to zero:
x + 2 = 0
x = -2
x = 0
Therefore the holes are at x = -2 and x = 0
