Using the following on-line calculator for inverse standardized normal distribution (i.e. given a probability, find the z value)

we can get an answer by entering the Area under the curve (i.e. the probability ) as 0.1170 and checking the 'Above' radio button since we want Z > c
The default mean is of course 0 for the Standardized Normal Distribution. Standard Deviation (sd) is 1. The variance is also one but only because variance = sd2 and 1 squared is 1.
