I've enjoy working with computers, and I want to try teaching.
It does depend heavily on what you are using the machines for, but the best bang for your buck would be the Acer Predator. The Zephyrus is a bit better in terms of specs, due to the upgradable ram slot, and a better refresh rate.
Here is why:
Gaming: The Zephyrus has a higher refresh rate of 165hz which is definitely better for competitive games, but for most people the refresh rate above 144hz is not noticeable. What will be noticeable is the resolution, which the Acer Predator does much better in.
Work: The vast majority of work you will do on a computer would be crushed by these two laptops. If you are doing more compute intensive work, you may want to go for the Zephyrus, as the upgradable ram slot could provide a lot of value. Beyond this if you work in design, the higher resolution on the Acer Predator would be helpful.
Rendering: Both of these computers would do very well with rendering, but the Zephyrus wins out due to the ram slot.
In conclusion, these are both very good laptops and you won't go wrong with either. The Acer Predator will give you a better value, but if you are concerned about competitive gaming, high-end workloads, or upgradability then the Zephyrus would be a good choice.
