The variable on the x axis is the time t. This is given to be in units of 10-3 seconds. From the graph, the time period of the wave is roughly T = 4.5 * 10-3 seconds. The function is the reflection of sine about the x axis, so it has to be of the form
V = -V0 Sin((2* Pi / T) *t)
= -V0 Sin(444*Pi*t) volts where V0 is the height of the peak, which is roughly 0.5 in the figure.
So V = -0.5 Sin(444*Pi*t) volts.
