John Langdon had strong views on how the newly forming government of the United States should be structured. Believed that each state should be represented equally in the legislature and not according to population size. He also proposed that slaves should be counted as three-fifths of a person in a state's population. As for the election of the national executive, President should be by a select number of electors in the state legislatures.
