There are several things that make a good hypothesis but I think the best ones that can help here are a hypothesis is testable and it shows an expected relationship between two variables. The only answer that fits both of these is B. It is a question wondering about the relationship between 8 hours of sleep and less than 8 hours of sleep on testing ability. Those are the two variables. To test this you would have subjects sleep 8 hours and take a test and then less than 8 hours and and take the same test and see if the hypothesis is correct.
