Looks like the graph passes through the points (0,1), which is the y-intercept, and (2, -4). Use the slope formula to find the slope of that line, then use slope-intercept form (y=mx+b) to write the equation.
Slope through (0,1) and (2,-4):
m = (-4-1)/(2-0) = -5/2.
Equation in slope-intercept form (note b=1):
y = (-5/2)x +1
If you wanted to use the point (2,-4) you could use point-slope:
y - (-4) = -5/2 (x-2)
y+4 = (-5/2)x + 5
y = (-5/2)x + 1
(same result)
