Churchill was warning the West about the coming perils of Communism and the effects it would have on international relations. He believed that an Iron Curtain of Communism had descended upon Eastern Europe and parts of Asia that would be incompatible with the principles and ideologies of the Western Democratic mindset. He warned that the future would break down into a battle between these two ideologies, and he was correct!
