Obtain the Legendre polynomial P₆(x) by application of the recurrence formula

n*(P_n(x)) = ((2n − 1)*x)*(P_n−1(x)) − (n − 1)*(P_n−2(x))

assuming that P₄(x) and P₅(x) are known.

Just replace n by 6 in the recurrence formula.

Not sure if I have understand the question correctly, because if you substitute n = 6 in the recurrence formula, assuming P_4(x) and P_5(x) are known, P_6(x) can easily be calculated from these two!
