A more elegant solution may exist.
For the first series
S2n = (2n/2)(30 + 29 + 2n)
S2n = 59 + 2n2
The mean is 29.5 + n
For the second series
Sn = (n/2)(100 + 99 + n)
Sn = 99.5 + (n2/2)
The mean is 99.5 + (n / 2)
29.5 + n = 99,5 + (n / 2)
Can you solve for n and answer?

Is the first series written correctly? If the numbers are determined by 29 + 2n the numbers should be n = 1 => 31, n = 2 => 3310/21/22
