15% peanuts must Nicole add to 9 Ibs. of mixed nuts that contain 35% peanuts to make a mixture with 27% peanuts?

Mixed Nuts #1 x 15% = .15 .15x

Mixed Nuts #2 9 35% =.35 9 x .35 = 3.15

New mixture x + 9 27% = .27 (x+9) .27 = .27x + 2.43

Mixed Nuts #1 + Mixed Nuts #2 = New Mixture

.15x + 3.15 = .27x + 2.34 Solve the equation.
