I think Michelle made a typographical error. As she said, it is odd positive, but that means as x goes negative infinite, so does y. Her fingers missed the minus for the y behavior.

First we look at the power function of this function, which is 2x³. This tells us that we function is odd positive. Knowing that this is an odd positive function, the end behavior would be: as x→ -∞ , y→ ∞ , and as x→ ∞, y→ ∞
