Grading for high school

If i have a 96 and i get a 0 on a project. What grade do i have after that? The project is worth 100 points i think. Am i in trouble?

Hello Haru,

If you get a 0 on the project that is worth 100 points, then your grade will drop down from a 96 to a 48 since 48 is the average of 0 and 96. 48 is a 'F'. If the project is worth a big percentage of your final grade (regardless of how many points it is worth), then you will still get a 'F'.
