Make y the subject of 4y-2x=17 and 2y over 3-x=z

Make y the subject of 4y-2x=17
and
2y over 3-x=z (by over i mean that 2y is above 3 and 3 is under the line if you know what it mean!) 
please help and show working out!

4y-2x=17
Let's add 2x to both sides...
2x+4y-2x=2x+17
4y=2x+17
Let's divide both sides by 4...
y=(2x+17)/4
y=(2/4)x+(17/4)
y=(1/2)x+(17/4)
 
2y over 3-x=z
(2y)/(3-x)=z
Let's multiply both sides by (3-x)
(3-x)[(2y)/(3-x)]=z(3-x)
2y=z(3-x)
Let's divide both sides by 2...
(2y)/2=[z(3-x)]/2
y=[z(3-x)]/2
