At a birthday party 3 girls and 3 boys are seated in a row. How many different arrangements are possible if:

a) the first seat is taken by a girl

b)boys take the first and last seat, and at least two of the girls shouldn’t sit together

3 * 2 * (4! -3*3! ) first seat, 3 boys, last seat, 2 boys. Then ( the rest 4 people sit wherever - two girls sit together)
