Your parents have decided to let you plan your next family vacation. You get to pick between Chile, Ecuador, or Peru and what you need to do to prepare.

1. Give one sentence to state which country (Chile, Ecuador, or Peru) you and your family are going to travel and when (season, month, etc.), using the correct form of the verb ir + a + infinitive. (e.g., My family and I are going to visit Spain this summer.)

1.) Mi familia y yo vamos a viajar a Perú este verano. Vamos is the correct form of “ir” + a + and “viajar” is the infinitive verb needed.

2.) Tengo que hacer un itinerario de los lugares que visitaremos en Perú. In this case, the verb “tener” is irregular and is thus transformed to “tengo”.

3.) Mis padres tienen que poner los bocadillos y la ropa en la maleta. Again, “tener” is irregular, and for the el/ellas conjugation it becomes “tienen” in contrast to “tengo” for the yo conjugation.

4.) Vamos a recorrer Machu Picchu y también vamos a caminar por los senderos del Cañón del Colca. I am unsure if your teacher wanted you to use the ir + a + infinitive pattern twice but I did so just in case.
