Gravity
Gravity pulls equally in all directions, causing planets to be shaped like spheres.
Mercury and Venus are almost perfectly sphere shaped.
Earth is a little more pear shaped, but still fairly round.
All planets tend to be round. The earth's moon is also round. You can see how round it is, at night. for the same gravity reasons.
It's similar to why the earth's orbit is circular shaped around the sun. The sun's gravity pulls it with an equal force in all directions. But it's not perfectly circular. It's elliptical. But still fairly close to a circle.
The earth like Saturn and Jupiter also have a bulge at the equator, due to the faster movement of the earth's surface at the equator. So again, not perfectly round, but close.
