How do feedback mechanisms help maintain homeostasis?

Feedback systems allow for the body to maintain an overall equilibrium (I say equilibrium and not even balance because the needs of the body or amount of product needed to meet the body needs are not always equally distributed but they are PROPORTIONALLY distributed) based on the needs of the body system at any moment in time.

They simply work like a restore button, they try to bring back everything to normal or close to it via different mechanisms.
