population mean = the arithmetic average = (3+5+7)/3 = 15/3 = 5
population variance =the average sum of squared deviations from the mean = (4+0+4)/3 = 8/3 = 2.666...
divide by 3 instead of 2 because 3,5 and 7 are the population, not a sample from the population
population standard deviation = the square root of the variance = sqr(8/3) = 2sqr(2/3) = about 2(.81645)
= about 1.6329
mean=5
var = 8/3
SD = 2sqr(2/3)
