since, we have to find the final velocity of the ball,
taking the upward direction as positive,
using the equation of motion:
v2 = u2 + 2gh
v2 = 02 + 2 * 9.8 *230
v = sqrt (4508)
v = 67.14 m/s
Therefore, the velocity of the ball when it hits the ground is (v) = 67.14 m/s
