You have an exponential/continuous growth situation:
f(t) = (P)(er*t) where
P is the starting amount --"a" is often used instead of P
r is the rate of growth --"k" is often used instead of "r"
t is time
this problem may be asking you to change f(t) = (P)(er*t) into f(t) = (a)(bt)
where "a" is the starting amount
"b" is the growth rate
this would mean that you have to change (e.729) into "b"
