replace n by 0 in the original equation: C = 180*(0) + 1,100 = 0 + 1,100 = 1,100
(0,1,100) is the answer
b. The n-intercept is the value of n when C = 0, so replace C by 0 in the original equation to solve for n:
0 = 180n + 1,100
subtract 1,100 from both sides: -1,100 = 180n
Divide both sides by 180: -6.11 = n
(-6.11, 0) is the answer
