I agree with this view because social and economic issues involve people - the most complex and challenging beings on our planet. And those issues can be driven by a host of events and social trends plus cultural views which are often beyond our control.

Environmental problems can be tackled by taking concrete steps such as being environmentally mindful plus determining what drives the breakdown of our environment and then addressing those issues.
