How do I describe the properties of equality used to solve linear equations?

I really don't get this question and my brain just doesn't follow it at all. Like how do I describe something like that?

The properties of equalities that are used are the following:

Addition property (add same number on both sides)

Subtraction property (subtract same number from both sides)

Multiplication property (multiply both sides by the same number) and

Division property (divide both sides by the same number).
