Delusions and hallucinations both distort reality. Hallucinations mainly revolve around your 5 senses (hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, & feeling something that isn't there). Examples of hallucinations would be hearing voices when others can't hear the same voices and the feeling of spiders crawling on your body when in reality there are no spiders. Delusions, on the other hand, are false beliefs or ideas, believing in something that's not true. Examples of delusions are the belief that someone is out to spy on or harm you
