well i dont need help with that paragraph anymore but if you could revise this and add some words I need 1200 but only have about 600 In Philadelphia 1776 Thomas Jefferson changed history when He wrote the Declaration Of Independence, which caused The United States to declare independence. The Declaration Of Independence was a document signed that granted all of its citizens independence and liberty from great Britain’s treacherous rule. They did this to become free and to better their childrenś lives and their country. This topic centers around diplomacy because the founding fathers were split into two sides with opposing ideas on becoming a free nation which prompted them to write a declaration. This is significant because if the founding fathers didn’t write and sign the Declaration Of Independence when they did, we wouldn’t have the rights that we have today. Before the signing and writing of the declaration of independence, just the thought of becoming an independent country was radical. But after the first skirmish of the revolutionary war broke out in Massachusetts on April 1775. The idea of becoming independent became less and less radical. John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin would continue to discuss which option would better our country and wondered if the answer was to become independent. The men knew this was not going to be an easy task because they were severely outnumbered. That obstacle didn’t matter to them and they continued to declare freedom. On July 1st the Continental Congress came together, and the following day 12 of the 13 members voted on Lee´s resolution for independence. Then on July 3rd continuing until the late morning of the 4th, the congress revised about one-fifth of the Declaration Of Independence’s contents. The 4th would one day become a holiday because it was the day that our founding fathers signed and adopted the Declaration Of Independence. This was all caused by the first skirmish of the revolutionary war which took place on April 18th, 1775 in Massachusetts. On that night, hundreds of Boston troops marched from Boston to nearby Concord, trying to strengthen their grasp on the 13 colonies, on the next day local militiamen got in a battle with the british troops. This caused even more tension between Great Britain and the 13 colonies so much so that the thirteen colonies then became independent These events are what sparked the fire that was the revolutionary war. Right after they signed the declaration they made copies and handed them out to the people to read aloud in public spaces. Word of the declaration would come to sweep the colonies but not everyone was ecstatic about the change. Some people didn’t like the idea because they wear attached to the monarchy of Great Britain. But overall, the majority of people did support the declaration. The signing of the Declaration was a pivotal point in history because it affected the future of the 13 colonies, by giving e all the citizens freedom and independence. By signing the declaration, and granting freedom to all citizens, the revolutionary war began and would carry on for seven years, unfortunately claiming over 6,000 lives. In todays world the actions and decisions made on the july 4th of 1775 affect us every day. Because it gave us all of our basic rights and freedoms. Because our Founding Fathers came together and decided on independence all generation to come sense have been able to live with ¨Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness¨- which was written on the Declaration of Independence by Thomas Jeffeson. The signing of the Declaration changed history as weknow it, i didnt only give us freedom but it would give us a holiday beloved by all. Every thing as we know it would be alot different if the founding fathers didnt vote on independence for example we would probally be under the rule of great britain and talk with a british accent but because we became separated we diplomacy and speek with an american acsent.
