First, you need to find the slope using rise / run:
(y1 - y2) / (x1 - x2) (0 - 4) / (2 - 4) = 2 therefore, the slope of the line is 2.
Now we will just use one of the points to get our line (I will show both):
(y - 0) = 2 (x - 2) y = 2x - 4 (y - 4) = 2 (x - 4) y - 4= 2x - 8 y = 2x - 4
We can also verify that the line is correct by placing our points back into the equation:
y = 2x - 4 (0) = 2 (2) - 4 0 = 4 - 4 0 = 0 ✓
