AMDM (Mathematics) Question
You have an 85 average in a class, the grade is split between coursework worth 30% of the grade, tests worth 20% of the grade, finals worth 20% of the grade, reinforcement worth 15% of the grade and participation worth 15% of the grade. If you have a 95 average for coursework, a 100 average for tests, a 92 average for your participation, and a 93 average on reinforcement what is your final grade?
Hi Sara,
coursework*(0.30) + tests*(0.20) + final*(0.20) + reinforcement*(0.15) + participation*(0.15) = 85
95*(0.30) + 100*(0.20) + final*(0.20) + 93*(0.15) + 92*(0.15) = 85
SOLVE FOR final:
final = [85 - 95*(30) - 100*(20) - 93*(15) - 92*(15)] / 0.20
final = 8.75 / 0.20
final = 43.75%
