- Incorrect. Think about it - why would the western allies agree to Stalin's supporting their enemy Japan?
- Almost correct but perhaps it would to be more accurate to insist that the four allies each controlled one zone (i.e. they created an American controlled zone, a British controlled zone, a French controlled zone, and a Soviet controlled zone).
- Perhaps but you need to be more precise: Your answer would be correct only if by 'partition' you mean the same kind of divison into four administrative zones as they were created for the country as a whole (I am saying this only in case there is any confusion with the later partition into a communist East Berlin controlled by Russia and a democratic West Berlin controlled by the Americans, the British, and the French. That partition - and the wall separating East and West - was a result of the cold war, not the Yalta conference.)
