easiest points to graph are the x and y intercepts. plot them, then draw a straight line through them.
y=(2/5)x + 5 has y intercept 5 which means the point (0,5), 5 units up on the y axis
to find the x intercept, set y=0
0 = (2/5)x + 5
x = -25/2 = -12.5 or the point (-12.5, 0) which is 12.5 units the left on the x axis from the origin (0,0)
plot (0,5) and (-12.5,0) connect them with a straight line and extend that line further in both directions, putting an arrow at the end of each end, indicating the line goes forever in both directions.
