sinx = 1/cscx
cscx = 1/sinx
-1< sinx < +1
cscx > +1 or cscx < -1 cscx is never between -1 and 1.
sinx = the opposite side over the hypotenuse
cscx = the hypotenuse over the opposite side
sin^2(x) + cos^2(x) = 1 divide all 3 terms by sin^2(x) to get:
1 + cot^2(x) = csc^2(x)
