A “Big Rig,” or eighteen wheeler truck will burn diesel at a rate of    gallons each hour, t hours after a fill-up.

Find the number of gallons of gas consumed by a typical “Big Rig” 10 hours after a fill-up.

You are correct. If G'(t) = 17 - e^-t then G(t) = ∫17 - e^-t dt = 17t + e^-t and this is then evaluated between 0 and 10 to get [17(10) + e^-(10)] - [17(0) + e^-(0)] = 170 + 0.000045 - 0 - 1 ≈ 169 gallons
