Hi Seryna F.,
You have the limits on x already: from 2 to 6, inclusive.
Since f(x) is a linear function, i.e. has x present only as x^1 (to the power of 1, that is, just x), also with a constant, you may just plug in those limit values for x, and crank the old function calculator.
f(x) = 2x - 4 will give you 0, 8 for x = 2, 6 respectively. So those (0, 8) are the limits on the range.
Remember: domain is your x, range is your f(x) (or y, if you want to think of it as that). Don't worry if those terms don't immediately make sense to you, they're just arbitrary names that have been given. But everyone uses them, in English-math, anyway.
