Extra Credit:
Based on the conversation, type on the line the correct idiomatic expression from the ones you have learned.
My answers are in bold and underlined.
1. --Quiero por fin llegar temprano mañana, no importa que pase.
--Si te despiertas temprano, a pesar de todo, lo podrás hacer.
2. --Quiero hacer todo lo posible para llegar a ser médico.
--Tienes que tirar la casa para lograrlo*. achieve it*
3. --Voy a rezar mucho y esforzarme por agradar a Dios.
-- A lo mejor llegarás a ser santo.
These are the idiomatic expressions I have learned:
... al fin de cuentas ... when all was said and done ...
... a lo mejor ... maybe (in the best possible case) ...
... a pesar de ... in spite of ... despite the fact that ...
... a poner el dedo en la llaga ... hit the nail on the head (put the finger on the wound) ...
... tirar la casa por la venta ... to pull all the stops (do everything possible to succeed) ...
... por si las moscas ... just in case (in case the flies come) ...

BAsed on the samples of idiomatic expressions that you learned, your answers to the incomplete sentences are good. However, remember that idiomatic expressions in Spanish can have different meaning depending on the country's culture. Spanish is widely spoken in many countries, and each country uses their own idiomatic expressions based on their own regionalisms and cultural backgrounds.

If we work together we can get outstanding results!
We need to be careful using idiomatic expression. Some of them are tricky! They are not literal! You need to get the real and deep meaning to be able to use them. You can go and read every sentence with all the possible answers. The one that makes more sense and that actually has a complete meaning is the correct one.
